Resources

I created this resources page to help you with deciding what tools, services, and sites to go to and use. I personally know how stressful and frustration it is to make a choice on what to use or buy. With all the tools and services available now a days, it’s real easy to get overwhelmed. Hopefully this page will ease your mind a bit.

I’ll be adding more to it as I learn and test out new things. In future posts I will reference this page quite often, so I recommend bookmarking it for your own personal reference and convenience. Thanks!

HOSTING:

  • Bluehost: The Income Press Blog is hosted on BlueHost. I’m loving them and seriously considering moving all my blogs over here. They’re simply awesome and I highly recommend them.
  • Hostgator: This is where I first started hosting my blogs. I still have many sites hosted there.

BLOG THEMES:

  • Optimize Press: This WordPress theme is an all in one package. You can create killer squeeze pages on the fly, sales pages, membership sites, blogs, I personally use it and stand 100% by them.
  • StudioPress: This very blog the you are on right now is built on StudioPress Themes. I’ve used them for years and in my honest opinion, this is the best and easiest theme to work with. Very user friendly. They keep the “non techy” dudes like me in mind when they create their themes.

EMAIL MARKETING SERVICES:

  • Aweber: The most powerful email opt-in service and email marketing tool out there. It’s what I personally use to build my email list, and used by nearly every “guru” and marketer online.

ANALYZING & TRACKING RESULTS:

  • Max Ninja Affilaite: The BEST link tracking and cloaker for wordpress blogs. Best feature is that it converts keywords on your blog with the actual links you cloak. A true autopilot plug-in.
  • Google Analytics: Google’s free website tracking and analytical tool. A must have for anyone with any type of website.
  • Clicky: It’s just like Google Analytics, except it’s easier to use, and you can view how many people are on your site (and what they’re doing) in real time! Your first site is free.
  • Google Optimizer: This is another free tool form google where you can test different webpages of the same content, only changing one or two things, so you can see which one works and converts best. It’s basically a website optimizer testing tool.

  • Market Samurai: The best keyword research tool on the planet, hands down with out a shadow of a doubt. You want to get ranked high in the search engines, get more traffic, then this is the tool you need.
  • Google Adwords Tool: A free keyword research tool. This is good to see the popularity of certain keywords and to spy on the competition if you’re doing adwords stuff.

  • Gravity Forms: A great WordPress plugin that allows you to easily add contact forms to your blog with features beyond required, great for order pages as well!

  • Odesk: One of my favorite places to outsource. You can pay by the hour or a fixed rate. A big advantage with Odesk is that you can monitor their work.
  • Elance: Hired service for jsut about anything you can think of.
  • Freelancer: Another outsource website for freelancers, IT companies, programmers and web designers from all over the world.

  • s3 Amazon: The best and cheapest place to host all your video. Not only that, but you can host all your audios, PDF’s, eBooks, pretty much anything you can download and stream. (make sure you get “Simple Storage Service”)
  • Easy Video Player: This is the best video marketing software EVER. It integrates with s3 Amazon. Very POWERFUL and HIGHLY recommended!
  • Youtube: Free video streaming service. This is good for any videos that’s free for the public to view. (For any private videos, I suggest getting s3 amazon and use EVP for easy access and streaming.)

MASTER AND PRIVATE LABEL RIGHTS PRODUCTS

  • Master Resale Rights: The number 1 place I go to for all my MRR and PLR product. You can literally create a whole sales funnel just from this site.

PRODUCT DISTRIBUTION & PAYMENT PROCESSORS

  • Clickbank: A digital product retailer. Probably the most popular of all payment processors. Great affiliate program for your products.
  • 1Shopping Cart: This is a good cart for big ticket items. It’s compatible with Paypal Standard, Paypal Pro, Google Checkout, Authorize.net, TrialPay, Clickbank & 2CheckOut. Works like a charm, very low price to use. Comes with a decent affiliate program for your products.
  • Paypal: This one is just ok for selling your own little products. I wouldn’t go to big with these guys. I’d recommend using any of the above carts for big ticket items.

NICHE SITE & SEO JUICING TOOLS

  • Unique Article Wizard: This is the tool I use to generate hundreds and thousands of backlinks to my blogs and niche sites.
