In this video I show you how to check where you are ranking in Google for the particular keywords you’re targeting.
I’m using this tool called Market Samurai [free trial]. Now obviously there are ways to check your google rankings with free tools available to you out in the internet world. I honestly don’t know what they all are and the ones I do know of aren’t even worth me recommending cause they’re complete garbage.
The last thing I want to do is recommend something that simply won’t work or be of any help to you. I’m not here to set you up for failure.
I’m here to show you EXACTLY what I’m doing and the tools that I’m using in my online business. I would be cheating you if I just whip up any old video and show you things I don’t use, won’t recommend, or know nothing about.
So with that said, here’s the video.
As you can see in the video that I’m ranking pretty good for some of my keywords I’m targeting. Now that I know which keywords I’m ranking for on my domino niche site, I can now do some optimizing to maximize results.
I’ll be making a video on exactly how I’m going to do that. So look out for that one.
That’s it for me today. Hope you enjoyed this video.
Cheers.
Any Questions?
If you just got the Market Samurai software or need any help with it, just hit me up in the comments section and I’ll do my best to answer and help ya out. Thanks.

Market Samurai is really a great tool, which offer very much. What you say that when you are on the first page of Google, you don’t have to do anything more. Work on keywords, where you are on the second or third page.
Since the last change Google made, it appears to me that you quickly lose your first page ranking, if you don’t constantly do something about it, unless a website is older and has lots of backlinks and of course the number of visitors might play a role.
yeah it’s true. if you don’t update your blog content, you will loose ranking. At least that’s what people are saying.
But I know for a fact that if a particular keyword and page gets consistent traffic, day in day out, it will stay up there.
Very useful video. Your method for checking seo value is just good. Thank you, Joey for the good info.
you’re welcome Leslie ;-)
Many thanks for this great information. I’m learning MS right now so this is really useful! I have one comment though about the placement of your FB, Tweet, etc. Vertical Bar. It’s disconcerting to have it right in the way consistently. It blocks out what I’m trying to read and when I try to get under it, it just continues to follow. Maybe this is supposed to really work, and if so, I’d like to know why, but I personally find it annoying. I love your site and your generosity in sharing your knowledge so I hope you don’t take this as a criticism. It’s just a comment about a placement of this bar.
It looks fine on my end Fran. Would you mind taking a picture or screen shot of it. would greatly appreciate it. Anything that’s messed up I would like to fix asap ya know.
And any criticism is good constructive criticism. It only helps to make things better. Thank you very much.
Oh boy, this was great!!!! Looking more and more like Market Samarai is the way to go. Found out about a guy in Canada who uses Market Samarai exclusively for his keyword research and is doing 3 1/2 million dollars a year with these little niche sites like yours. You bet your ass I would take $6.63 a day times a hundred such sites. Only thing that I wonder about is how Coquita and Dominoes relate. I thought that Google did not like content that does not pertain to your original keywords. That would be something that I would need to understand.
Really looking forward to all the things to learn about Market Samarai and how you apply it. By the way do you remember what the cost of this software is???? Let me know.
Thank you again as always, Paul
Paul, google loves when you create non related content. I mean you can’t do something like have a blog about fish and then write about high heel shoes.
In my case, Dominoes is a Hispanic thing. It’s our past time. Coquito is also a Hispanic thing which we celebrate during the holidays. In fact while playing dominoes it is custom to toast during the game.
So the Coquito article is very related to the dominoe niche. It’s what you call Lateral Keyword targeting.
You target keywords that has nothing to do with the actual keyword you’re targeting, BUT has something to do with it.
For example. My main target is “Domino”. Exact match or related matches would be: Domino Game, Domino Table, how to play dominoes, etc.
A non matching, non related, Lateral Keyword would be: Coquito, Spanish Culture, Puerto Rican Customs, etc.
Anyway, I should write a post on this. You’ve giving me a great idea.
Hope this helps anyway. Thanks.
