I’ll be deleting that show and before I did, I wanted to salvage any good recordings. This one here was the only one worth salvaging. It’s so full of great content and I just had to share it again.
In this session I interviewed a very close friend of mine, Devon Brown. This is a guy who I highly look up to, respect, and admire for not only his work ethics, but his true passion for helping people.
Devon is a straight up dude, funny as hell, and a person you should definitely check out.
In this session we spoke about how Devon uses outsourcing to get things done quicker and faster so he can focus on things that he truly loves and enjoys.
One big take away for me in this session was when Devon talked about this S.W.O.T. analysis, (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threats). Basically you’re suppose to figure out what you’re strong at and what your weak on, then work on your weaknesses.
Well Devon says “screw that”. He believes that you should work on and focus 100% on your strength and outsource the crap that you are weak at and hate the most.
lol, funny but it’s so true. When you have to focus on both, then that means you have to split your focus 50/50 between the both of them. In most cases you end up focusing 80% on weakness cause you work so hard on learning and trying to figure things out. If you focus 100% on what you’re good at, then you’ll be more productive.
Anyway, that was the biggest take away for me. I’m sure you’ll find many golden nuggets in this session as there are many.
Here’s a brief bio on Devon Brown:
Devon has gone from filing bankruptcy at age 23, to generating in excess of $30,000 per month in his home business. His ability to identify with the frustration that is felt by many who are trying to see success in the home business industry is what separates him from many other “gurus” in our industry.
The ironic thing about Devon is that while he makes his living on the internet, he is arguably the LEAST technical internet marketer around today. He has no clue how to build his own websites and struggles to even update his own blog. His success in the internet home business industry is proof that you don’t have to be a technical genius in order to make a living on the internet.
