Welcome everyone to the last IPM Reports for the 2012 year. WOO-HOO!!!
What a wonderful year its been for the IP blog. Really, it has. I mean starting from scratch back in November 2011, all the way till now. Amazing ;-)
I’ve had a blast here sharing my experiences and experiments. Everything from the highs and lows, the gains, losses, and all the craziness that goes with it and it’s something I’ll continue to do for as long as I can.
I do this to show people that it can be done. All you gotta do is work at it and not give up. You may not be where you want to be at the end of your mark, but you’ll be a lot closer than you would have if you did nothing.
My latest Screw New Years Resolution 2013 post is a perfect example of my journey in 2012 and how it did not all go to plan.
In December there wasn’t much to report. As I mentioned in November’s IPMR, I was just gonna sit back, relax, and enjoy my time with family, which I did a lot of. However, I’d be lying if I said i didn’t think at all about my business.
Let’s do it:
Biggies for December
I hate to sound like a broken record here, cause last month I talked about my AdSense stuff, but in December was a record breaking month for my AdSense earnings.
A total of $160.82 from AdSense and $158.43 of that was just in videos. Hot DAMN!!! That’s double from the previous month.
My Coquito Recipe just killed it.
Now I’m not saying that the Coquito video made all that money. Those earnings there are just YouTubes estimates. But damn, you gotta think it was the majority cause of all them views.
That video there was the highest and most viewed video from all of the videos I have uploaded on all my YouTube accounts. Just murdered the rest.
I will be digging deeper into this in a post I have dedicated just to this topic. Look out for that one.
That’s pretty much it for that. Other than that the biggest biggie for me in December was just getting to spend time with my family.
My first born turned 18 so that was fun. Sort of ;-)
I literally just sat back and relaxed. But now that’s over and it’s time to get busy. Lots to do and lots to share.

A bit of a Drop
Granted, there was a drop this month, but I’ll take it any day. This blogs become sort of an automated type of thing as far as generating traffic and income.
By far not a true passive income site as I have to keep working on this blog and continue to provide as much value as I can. But what is passive is the way the traffic and income is generated.
I push no traffic at all other than the occasional email broadcast. Which I don’t do that often anymore. And even when I do broadcast an email, my organic traffic is much more than that. Like 5 times more.
So yes, even though I have to maintain this blog, I see it as an automated system. Several times in 2012 I got lazy and didn’t post for 3 weeks at a time. And even in December which I did nearly nothing, the traffic kept coming in and the income kept rolling.
I doubt this blog will truly ever become a true “Passive Income Stream”, as I love posting, writing, and sharing my experiences. It’s my home away from home. This is where I most feel comfortable.
What has become a true passive income stream for me however is my videos. I published them once, and it literally took off on it’s own. And that’s what I’m going to focus on more this year. Creating true passive income streams that will work for me over and over again for a long period of time.
What to look for in January and the rest of 2013?
I got lots of plans for 2013. I talk about it more in my Screw New Years post, check it out and gimme your thouhts. But I mainly want to do more case studies, more webinars, and more podcasts.
I really want to publish more Episodes than I did in 2012. Last year I didn’t reach my mark of 20. It’s ok, but I definitely want to get close to 50 this year.
Podcasting has been a huge thing for me and the IP blog. So yeah, more of that.
Also more Reader Challenges. Check out my latest challenge.
For January I will be revealing some of my secret niche sites and the new niche I’ll be getting into. It’s gonna be huge and I can’t wait to share it with you.
Anyway, that’s it for me. Till next time…
Peace and I love ya for free ;-)
